Unit Statuses

Unit Statuses:
Assigned: A household is assigned to the unit. This unit will not show as available to be assigned in the assignment action wizard.

Occupied: A household is moved into the unit. This unit will not show as available to be assigned in the assignment action wizard.

Removed From Inventory: This status indicates that the housing authority/department used to have an interest in the unit. A housing authority/department would do this because of four reasons: they sold the unit, they demolished the unit (razed), they conveyed the unit to a former tenant, or because it was a duplicate listing of a unit.

Vacant: No household is moved into the unit. This unit will be shown as available to be assigned in the assignment action wizard.

Conveyed: The unit was taken ownership by the former tenant, usually via a Mutual Help or Lease Purchase type program.

Unit Inventory Statuses:

Inventory: The housing authority has at one point had an interest in the unit.

Non-Inventory: The housing authority never had an interest in the unit. Owned by a third party/landlord.
