There are 6 different Inventory actions in Doorways: New Material, Adjust, Disposal, Receive, and Transfer. You can view a log of all actions in the Action Activity log.

Adjust

Adjustments are done to correct inaccurate total material quantities. Simply search for and select the material, enter the adjustment amount, check the action effects, and save. The action will then be added to the action activity log.

Disposal

Disposals are performed to signify the discard of a material, not associated with use on a Work Order.

Receive

The receive action indicates that new materials are being added, specifically materials that have been ordered. This action will create a positive increment in the quantity of material. The Receive action is different from an Adjustment in that an adjustment is to “fix” incorrect quantities.

Transfer

Use the transfer action to move materials from one location to another.

Action Activity Log

Filter through the Action Activity log based on a multitude of criteria. Simply open the “Show Filters” link on the lefthand side, choose a date range, select the action you want to find more about, and click “Apply Filters”. From there, you’ll want to Hide your filter bar and check out the returned results.
