Adding/Editing a Unit
Users can be assigned the ability to add a new unit to a program/project, and/or edit an existing unit in the permissions area of the application, by an Administrator.
Step-by-Step Guide to Adding a New Unit:
1 . Navigate to the Units section by clicking Occupancy > Units:
2. Click the “Add Unit” button:
3. Select an Existing Program.
4. Select an Existing Project. Then click “Next.”
5. Fill in all required fields, as well as any others that may be applicable to the new unit:
6. Click “Save.”
Success! You will be returned to the Units page, where the new additional unit will be added to the report.
Step-by-Step Guide to Editing a Unit:
1 . Navigate to the unit you would like to edit by either navigating to Occupancy > Units and locating the unit, or searching using the magnifying glass > Units:
2. Click the “Edit” link next to the “Unit Overview” section header.
3. Make any necessary edits.
4. When satisfied with the changes, click “Save.”
Note: Do not make ANY changes to the rental calculation section unless you are sure of what you’re doing. Feel free to reach out to a Doorways Support individual by emailing support@hdslabs.com with any questions.
Success! You will be returned to the Units page, and the unit will have been updated.
